The 16th IECER-Entrepreneurship Conference took place from 26 – 28 September 2018 in Innsbruck and was hosted by MCI Management
Center Innsbruck.
Our topic "Academic Entrepreneurship" also played an important role at this conference.
Our analysis showed that while Swiss universities of applied sciences successfully carry out research and development for business partners, their strong focus on contract research leaves little room for the promotion of their own research-based spin-offs. However, the offers in the area of "Entrepreneurship Education" and start-up counselling for students are already quite good!
